We were looking for somewhere nice for lunch and thought it looked nice. We were almost put off by some of the reviews but we had a really good experience. The atmosphere was quite friendly and welcoming although we were seated in a small corner, and the service was attentive and efficient, even though the restaurant was very busy. The fish soup was tasty and the main course - generous portions of scallops for me, cod for my wife, both in creamy sauces - were excellent. The prices were quite reasonable. We would happily return when in the area again.
I really don't understand the reasons behind the previous negative reviews. My wife and I had a very good meal served by friendly and helpful staff. My wife ordered a starter as a main course (despite being asked by the waitress if that was all she wanted!). When her meal was served the waitress said that the chef had given her a larger portion because he thought she had made a mistake. We shared the "starter" and ordered another main. All of the food was delicious, well cooked and nicely presented and served with a smile. The terrace is in a nice location overlooking the harbour. We would definitely return.
The food was great. I had the muscles with fries in a cheese and bacon sauce. My girlfriend had a crepe. I would have given 5 stars but the owner was a bit rude about the fact that my girlfriend only wanted a crepe and didn't want to serve "just desert" at first without having a main course first. It all worked out in the end and the waitress who served us in the end was really friendly and quick.
We (4 adults and a baby) ended up eating here by chance. The wait staff was really friendly and nice. They had multiple high chairs so it was easy to feed/entertain my daughter at the table. The food was absolutely delicious and we would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that happens to be in the area. (I can't attest to how well they speak English as we communicated in french).
Fabulous little restaurant. Outside terrace and inside restaurant. We ate lunch and dinner here during our stay. Mussels were stunning as were the kidneys. Great friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend
